A pleasant surprise in Ann Arbor. Madras Masala offers authentic South Indian and Indian cuisine in a clean, comfortable, and welcoming setting. The staff were courteous and the service was prompt.The food was flavorful, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced for the portion sizes. A great option for anyone looking for authentic Indian food, especially South Indian specialties, in the Ann Arbor area.

Madras Masala is too good in its delivery and catering. Delicious food. Party was hosted for 100 Ross students and the food was right in quantity with minimal wastage. Priscilla is wonderful and warm and that reduces the pressure and stress for the event planners.

This place is incredible!! I had a large catering order of 270+ guests for a student organization (A2Dhoom) at the University of Michigan, and the entire Madras Masala team was a tremendous support to us. They not only were incredibly easy and friendly to work with, but they went over the top with the quantity of food we had asked for + specially added food burners and trays and divided up the food for each team we were hosting for the weekend. Special shoutout to Priscilla - this woman is a high-spirited force that is running the whole show!! Absolutely love her and am so glad I catered with the Madras Masala team under her supervision!! Our guests mentioned multiple time how good and plentiful the food was - it was truly a great experience working with them! I highly recommend!! They especially love supporting student orgs 🫶🏼

My wife and I stopped in for dinner on Ash Wednesday for a vegetarian meal. She ordered a dosa and I ordered mattar paneer with naan and rice. The dosa was huge! We really enjoyed the food, it was good. The lady serving us was very friendly and nice, I believe her name is Pricilla. We will go back again and try some non vegetarian food. The food came out very quickly after ordering. I don’t have any complaints about this place.

Madras Masala is pretty solid! They have a lunch buffet on the weekends and it’s a great way to try a lot of different dishes. The lunch buffet has a wide selection and offers both vegetarian and meat options. The food itself is pretty good as well. The quality with the buffet is good, too! The service seemed a little disengaged but it could just be because it was busy. For example, we ordered a couple drinks and the didn’t come so we had to ask again for them after about 30 minutes. Not the end of the world by any means, but, just something to note. The atmosphere is fine - nothing too crazy but not bad by any means! Overall, a solid experience with some good food. The food was both South Indian and North Indian, but, it’s definitely more of a South Indian restaurant.
